Lunch time is My Time

This week instead of working thru lunch (while scarfing down whatever at my desk) I've been reading and commenting on some great, inspiring wt loss blogs. Gives me a break from work and keeps me motivated - and I'm making healthier food choices at lunch and turn off the computer while eating.

Will be checking in frequently this weekend - a dangerous time for me as I begin this journey.

Hopefully next week the weather will cooperate and I'll be going out for a mid-day walk.

  1. Hi Doc! Just read your blog. You seem to have done really well so far but I understand your worries about the weekend. Maybe going out for a walk or an indoor exercise class if weather is a problem. Something gentle like Tai chi or Yoga? Or even something more relaxing like a hobby you can do with other people - I read one blog recently where the lady goes to a knitting class!

    Or if infront of the TV - and we all need down time - then crudites and low fat creamy dressing/ dip. If crudites sound a little challenging ie unappetising, then cold cooked veg is really good for this.

    I'm going to follow your blog and see how you're getting on.
