This week instead of working thru lunch (while scarfing down whatever at my desk) I've been reading and commenting on some great, inspiring wt loss blogs. Gives me a break from work and keeps me motivated - and I'm making healthier food choices at lunch and turn off the computer while eating.
Will be checking in frequently this weekend - a dangerous time for me as I begin this journey.
Hopefully next week the weather will cooperate and I'll be going out for a mid-day walk.

Hi Doc! Just read your blog. You seem to have done really well so far but I understand your worries about the weekend. Maybe going out for a walk or an indoor exercise class if weather is a problem. Something gentle like Tai chi or Yoga? Or even something more relaxing like a hobby you can do with other people - I read one blog recently where the lady goes to a knitting class!
ReplyDeleteOr if infront of the TV - and we all need down time - then crudites and low fat creamy dressing/ dip. If crudites sound a little challenging ie unappetising, then cold cooked veg is really good for this.
I'm going to follow your blog and see how you're getting on.
